My lyrics are not about sea urchins, and not about microphones in the fog. They are far more diversified. They are about girls. And ladies. And other women.
Okay, just kidding.
They are about me in parts, but they are also about you and someone else, if not anyone in some cases, because they are telling stories of life. Mine and other’s, maybe yours.
They are about love and pain and anger.
They are about sex. And drugs. And, yes, they are about rock ’n‘ roll, too. Guess you expected that.
They are about fire and water, inside, outside, and metaphorically.
They are about ambition, and about freedom, different kinds.
About being open-minded. Or not – sad enough.
They are about strength and weakness, about going further, and about pride, wrong or right.
They are about feeling good and feeling bad and feeling ambivalent, literally.
They are about homecoming in one or the other way.
And about tea time and the blues.
They may contain traces of nuts and ambiguity. Please be aware that thoughts escaping between two lines as well as goose bumps appearing on your skin between two notes are always your thoughts and your goose bumps. The albums are picture and mirror at the same time. Depends on you, what you will see.
Not sure whether these words could clarify anything or not. Let’s face it: This is just a website. Listen to the songs and see if you can find or lose yourself in them. That’s what it’s all about.
