2024, December 7:

I approached the 2022 album Tea Time ´til I Die with the idea that it would be a one-off adventure. But the work on it got me hooked, so it was clear even before it was finished that it wouldn’t stay that way. And so it came about. I’m delighted to present my new album to you today: Here’s Fake Blues and Counterfeit Ballads. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

2022, September 3:

Tea Time ´til I Die is released today and these are my feelings about it:

Those long years inside the machine finally found an end. I’m back, home in a way. I especially enjoy being back into music again, although in the beginning it was a surprise to discover there still were (and hopefully still are) people remembering me as a singer and lyricist/songwriter after all this time.

Tea time played a role in a double meaning, but we shouldn’t overrate it.

Music is one of two constant fascinations in my life, the other one is the use of words. What could be closer than combining these two another time, after realising that nobody invented new chords in the meantime, but the old ones still work, and I still have something to say?

It was a great pleasure to detect my musical brothers from the dinosaur age still feel songs the same way I do, and it was an awesome experience to find a common language with those artists I hadn’t shared my muse’s kisses with before.

After deciding to make the project as big as it became, I’m glad about anyone who helped with participation and patience, which both means with priceless lifetime. My eternal thanks. I love you.

I thank you for reading this and listening to the album. Hope you enjoy both.

Will there be more one day? I hope so, but I don’t know yet. If there will come a time for it, it’ll come. And it’ll be told here.
